Falling Records Products

We sell a range of vinyl's dating back to the 1950s, sometimes even earlier. We believe vinyl is the best way to listen to music so we stock as much as we can, as well as music and demo's from bands and artists of more recent times. We stock a range of merchandise for local bands such as posters and t-shirts, we also sell tickets for events, shows and gigs. For music news in Manchester we know it all and provide free zines to all customers about upcoming events and gigs. Every month we also have gigs in store, limited tickets are available to buy on store and online. Our website has one of the largest collections of vinyl than anywhere other website in the UK.

About Falling Records

Falling Records was born in Manchester in 1980 a year when so many music movements were taking place and when the country was experiencing political unrest. It was the year when musical legends like John Legend and Ian Curtis passed away. John Stape set up Falling Records not just to sell and publicise local talent, but in the mid 1980s in also served as a venue and many inspiring performances from the likes of The Smiths, James and The Stone Roses all performing early gigs here. Falling records is a venue but it is also a place for the younger society to meet other people who have a passion for music like they do, something we are still proud of 30 years later.

Our Customer

Our customers are very important to us and with the fast paced industry of music, its good to be updated by our customers about news artists, bands and events. We have been helping musicians for years as well as making more people musical. We have helped countless venues become more equipped and more teachers and students more musical, and we only to continue this for years to come. We hold an annual new music competition to find upcoming musicians and the stars of tomorrow. The prize is £1000 and a weekend session in a recording studio.
